What a blessed assurance to know that God has reserved a priceless inheritance for you! I’m sure you have heard many times that we are Abraham’s seed, therefore we are heirs according to the promises of God. 1 Peter 1:4 says we have been given exceeding great and precious promises. You have heard teaching, sung songs and read books about them all. In your prayer time you have even reminded God about His promises. Although we understand what God has reserved for us, we often misunderstand His timing.
God is not affected by time. HE lives in eternity, WE live in time.
Do you realize everything God decreed in eternity will come to pass in time because it’s already done? Time is the agent for purpose and for every purpose under heaven there is a season.
Time is the only thing that separates the decree of God from the manifestation of that decree. You see, God frames your purpose within the borders we know as time.
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God… (Hebrews 11:3)
When the scripture mentions “worlds” in Hebrews 11:3, the reference is not to planets. It means eons, ages, or seasons. You have to remind yourself you are a purpose under heaven, which means there is a time for you. When you have a greater understanding of God’s timing, you will not become anxious or discouraged.
Picture a stone tossed in the water. The ripples go on and on. When God releases a Word it goes on and on until it completes what it’s supposed to accomplish in your life. You are a word spoken out of the mouth of God. The same word that called you into existence is the same word that will keep you going. He’s already spoken it and it shall come to pass. Your future is locked up in your time and every bit of it is in His hands.
Q: So how do I make it through time?
A: Find good ministry that will teach you how to have it, hold it, and not lose it, till it’s time to use it!
I will tell you, it’s not easy being in a good church where the Word will nourish you, convict you and confront you all at the same time. Real good ministry is not always “seeker friendly.” It will challenge you to change. You may find you need to make some corrections in your family, your character, even your credit. Without question when the Word does reach you, it is getting you ready for what God is going to do in your life and He knows exactly when you’re ready!
Everything God has for you has been perfectly pre-arranged and framed in the borders of time, so If It’s In Your Frame, It’s In Your Future. I pray that this message will create a hunger in you that will cause you to pull your chair up to the table and be fed over and over again.
Today, I urge you to bring Him your whole heart, be kind, be honest, do unto others as you would have them do unto you and trust the timing of God. There is nothing that He will withhold from those who walk uprightly before Him.
