Crisis Mode Living
Just as a busy mom can start to feel overloaded living at a relentless pace, so too can families caught in crisis-mode living feel dry and overextended. But there’s good news… you can turn things around by establishing some traditions that will bring your family together. In today’s post, Gary and Barb Rosberg share some helpful tips to help you become a better mom as you make time to enjoy your family.
Pray:
Father, thank you for blessing me with a family to care for and love. Help me not to take that calling lightly.
Reflect:
Is your family living in crisis mode, constantly bouncing from one thing to the next without ever slowing down?
Respond:
Have everyone in the family write an idea down for a family activity, and put each piece of paper in a jar. Then, once a week, let a different person choose a piece of paper out of the jar to determine what the family will do together that week.
Not only do we have to be intentional about spending quality time with our families, but another aspect of being a great mom is being intentional about praying for our children. However, have you ever felt stuck in knowing what to pray? Or feeling that you don’t pray enough? Find encouragement and some helpful ideas in tomorrow’s post.
