Who are you? Not who do others think you are – but do you know the real you? Who you are is determined by much more than what you have, what you do, or what you achieve. Telling me your name, where you live, work, go to school, or what you like to do are things about you. But you still haven't told me who you really are.
When you discover the real you, the way you think about life radically changes. Uncovering your identity makes you feel secure, important, and accepted. Then you can be the same person wherever you are – at home, school, at work – no matter where you are and what you’re doing. But lots of people don't know how to find their identity and even when they do, sometimes they don't want to be that person. They’re afraid they might have to be someone they don't want to be.

It’s only in Jesus that we can find out who we really are. He knows us better than anyone else - even better than we know ourselves – because He made us. Jesus is the one who designed us and put us together, piece by piece, molecule by molecule. Check this out. “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it” (Psalm 139:13-14 NLT).
This is huge! So don’t ever allow anyone else to define who you are except Jesus.
